Victoria Braithwaite

“I’ve drawn and painted for most of my life, attending numerous courses covering different artistic disciplines, and have always taken inspiration from the natural world. I attended my first botanical painting course in 2009 and have focused almost exclusively on that discipline since then.

I tend to pick subjects based on what looks like a challenge, or what grabs my eye. I love the imperfect and the fading, and am always looking for interesting shapes and gestural forms. I have work in private collections worldwide, including in the Shirley Sherwood collection.”
