I am am painter and landscape architect (MLA Edinburgh University) which led me to artist in residents posts in Sri Lanka and India from 1993 to 2007. Namely Brief Garden, Lunuganga Estate; Peradeniya, Chandighar and Darjeeling Botanical Gardens. I moved to Belgium in 2007 until 2018 where I painted in the Kruidtuin, Leuven when not in my studio or working in arboriculture. I now live in Duns, Berwickshire, where I have my garden studio and I am a supply lecturer in horticulture at Borders College.
